Through DFK Everalls community partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charity in Canberra, the DFK Everalls team volunteers to make home cooked meals for families staying at the house.
It was a great team effort and a lot of fun- the team made a selection of Beef casserole, Thai chicken curry, salads and fried rice, followed by apple pie with ice cream for dessert!
We catered for about 35 people staying in the house at the time, from planning the menu to preparing and serving the food and chatting with families – it was wonderful to do something simple but personal like providing a home cooked meal for these families in need.
If you would like to contribute your time or donate to this worthy cause please visit Canberra Ronald McDonald House Charity website.
It is such a rewarding experience for all involved and we look forward to contributing our time in a way that really makes a difference to those staying in the house.
As part of our alliance with Ronald McDonald House we also attend the Gala ball each year and contribute as a Bronze sponsor.
DFK Everalls has been an annual sponsor of the Canberra Comedy Festival for 2013, 2014, 2015 and.
As part of our Sponsorship we invite a group of clients to attend a show with us as part of an exclusive VIP group. This is always a fantastic night out, and a great way for us to say thank you to our clients.
We align ourselves with this festival as it is a local Canberra born organisation which helps build tourism in our city. The Festival runs for a week, with both local and interstate comedians.
