At DFK Everalls we pride ourselves on our 'can-do' attitude and work hard to deliver quality services to all our clients.

Our team members represent a broad range of age and qualifications, and a variety of cultural backgrounds. Our talented employees are able to converse with you in Chinese Mandarin, Egyptian, Lebanese, Sudanese, Iraqian, Hindi, Tagalog, German and French!

We also enjoy letting our hair down every now and again! Our busy social club conceives and organises Christmas functions, team building days, family barbecues, Melbourne Cup events and more.

Meet the Directors

The three directors of DFK Everalls work cohesively as a team to proactively develop the firm. Our goal is to provide services that exceed client expectations and a work environment that encourages growth and development amongst all the members of the firm.

	Robert Shelton Robert joined the firm in June 1993 as a Manager, having come from a ‘Big 4’ background. In July 1999, he became a Director and then became Managing Director of the Everalls group in January 2008. Robert holds a Masters in Taxation and has consulted to the ATO on various issues. He has also sat on various peak ATO consultative forums. Robert delivers seminars to a wide range of small business and non-profit sector audiences around Australia. He is acknowledged as a very practical and entertaining speaker. Currently Rob is delivering seminars on the mooted Emissions Trading Scheme. DFK Australia New Zealand and also DFK International have benefitted from Rob's input, including as Chairman of the DFKANZ group from 2006 to 2009. DFK duties sometimes take Rob out of Canberra, but builds a great group of contacts for local businesses as they expand their horizons throughout Australia and the world. When he can, Robert likes to travel - anywhere, anytime, and to get out camping in remote areas in Australia and explore the countryside. His other passions include walking and - of course - his family.

	Melissa Healy Melissa Healy joined the firm in May 2000 as a Manager and became a Director on 1 July 2003. Melissa works Tuesday to Friday because of her two girls, Rachel and Erin. Melissa’s 20+ years of experience is diverse. She has worked in both a large and a small accounting firm. She has also been the CFO/office manager for three different businesses in addition to running her own practice for 4 years. Melissa specialises in accounting and tax issues for small businesses especially those in the consulting, construction and retail industries. Melissa also has over 15 years of practical experience using MYOB software. Melissa’s weekend activities consist mainly of looking after her 600 acre cattle farm between Braidwood and Cooma. Chasing cows and building fences is actually very therapeutic after a week of number crunching!

	Mark Hardy Mark is the Business Manager of DFK Everalls. Mark has over 18 years experience in various business management roles in a variety of industries including the petroleum, health, training and accounting industries. He has had extensive small business experience in such areas as financial and management systems, staff recruitment and training and marketing and promotional activities. Mark finds the work in the DFK Everalls group challenging and stimulating as the company is always striving to improve its performance and service to its clients. Mark enjoys playing competitive tennis and golf, watching the Brumbies play and win, chasing after his 3 boys on the weekend and eating a good Turkish pide.

Meet The Accounting Team

	Alister Timbs Alister graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University, with majors in Accounting and Finance. At DFK Everalls, Alister assists our various managers in providing taxation services for our clients. He is currently studying the Chartered Accountant Program. Outside of work Alister is an avid reader and enjoys playing squash and computer games.

	Cathy Swain Cathy joined the firm in October 2004 and is employed to provide Bookkeeping and Administrative services to our clients. Previously Cathy ran her own small family business and also worked for twelve years as an Office Manager and in the Australian Public Service in administration. Cathy enjoys spending time with family and friends, has two children Gemma and Lucy and together they love partaking in outdoor activities such as camping, bushwalking and bike riding.

	Cherry Yang Cherry Yang joined DFK Everalls in July 2008 after graduating from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting. Cherry is currently studying for her CPA which she hopes to complete in a few years time. She’s interested in taxation, small-business and company accounting. Outside work Cherry enjoys yoga, meditation and light exercise. She also likes interior design, home-improvement, ice-skating and travelling overseas.

	John Triggs John joined DFK Everalls as a senior manager in July 2004. Prior to this he was in a partnership for 8 years. John has had 25 years in public practice as well as 14 years in the Australian Taxation Office. John is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and CPA Australia and has served on many committees for CPA Australia in conjunction with the Australian Taxation Office. John specialises in taxation, financial management and small business. John is married to Jan and has 2 married children. Whenever time permits he enjoys a round of golf at Yowani Country Club.

	Karen Buick Karen commenced with Everalls in November 2000 in administration. After 12 months Karen began assisting Marguerite Stewart in Taxation. Karen recently spent 2 years living on Christmas Island but we were pleased when she returned to work with DFK Everalls in the Taxation area. Karen is married with 2 children and enjoys in her spare time an occasional golf game, netball and being involved with her children’s sport. Karen also follows the AFL and Brumbies.

	Karen Coleman Karen started at Everalls in October 2006 as the Admin Assistant which later developed into the Accounting Support Officer role. Following the successful completion of a Tax Consultants course, Karen left the admin team to join the accounting team to help with the efficient processing and preparing of tax returns. Karen has been in Canberra for over 30 years and has identical twin boys Jack & Alex and a beautiful girl, Amy. Karen's passion is netball in all its forms, playing it, coaching it and watching it.


	Lynette Rogers Lynette joined Everalls in October 1999. During the time Lynette has worked for Everalls she has "graduated" from a junior accountant to a senior accountant assisting the Managers and Directors with their more involved company and taxation clients including assistance with various MYOB products. In her spare time Lynette enjoys playing softball, hockey, swimming and spending time with her husband and daughters.

	Marianne Keet Marianne joined the DFK Everalls team in 1978 and has stayed with us through our firm evolutions and moves. Marianne attained her accounting degree while working part-time with Everalls and since then has qualified as a CPA. Since the birth of her son Timothy in 1999 Marianne has taken up the flexible option of working partly from her home in Queanbeyan and attends the office four days a week. Marianne mainly deals with the preparation of financial accounts for small businesses and for all our superannuation funds. She is a member of the Canberra East Rotary Club. If in her spare time she enjoys swimming, cross-stitch and going to the coast.

	Prichie Dunn Prichie joined DFK Everalls in 1999 after five years working in a small Canberra accounting firm in Canberra and three years overseas accounting experience. Prichie specialises in financial accounting, taxation and superannuation. A qualified CPA, Prichie holds degrees in accounting from both Australia and the Philippines. She is married to Martin and has two daughters, Natalie and Abigail. Prichie would like to join with "Ground Force" and improve her garden. She also loves to show off her Filipino culinary delicacies.

	Randa Banoub Randa joined Everalls in January 2008 as an Accountant after the birth of her little girl, Julina. She has had a couple of years experience working with small and medium firm as an Accountant before joining Everalls. Randa holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and, obtained from University of Western Sydney and Advance Diploma in Accounting obtained from Ultimo TAFE in Sydney. She will be commencing her CPA soon. She has interests in Business Services and Individual tax returns. In her spare time, Randa enjoys her time playing, singing and dancing with her daughter. Also enjoys four wheel driving, travelling and water sport. Randa is currently on maternity leave after the birth of her son, Kyrillos.


	Stephanie Sankey Prior to joining DFK Everalls on 1 July 2004 as a senior manager, Stephanie was in partnership with John Triggs for nearly 8 years. Stephanie worked in public practice for over 17 years specialising in taxation, small business advice and particularly Small Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs). Stephanie is a member of the Institute of Charter Accountants in Australia and CPA Australia. She has, in the past, served on several committees of CPA Australia. She is married to Stuart and has a son David. Stephanie enjoys reading, gardening, visiting art galleries and Sunday lunch with friends.
	Melissa Walton Melissa joined DFK Everalls in March 2011 and is a trainee accountant. Melissa is currently studying at the Australian National University for a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting. Melissa has had over two years of experience as a trainee accountant prior to joining DFK Everalls. She is continuing to balance her university study while working four days a week. Melissa enjoys spending time with friends, going out for dinner as well as travelling to her favourite destination - Bali!
	Robert Erb Robert joined the firm in July 2011 as an accountant after four years working at two local accounting firms as a business services accountant. Robert graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Financial Administration from the University of new England in Armidale. Previously Robert owned and managed an Import/Export company for eleven years. In his spare time he loves to ride his bike, woodworking and reading a good novel.

	Jason Griffiths Jason joined DFK Everalls in June 2010 as an accountant after gaining several years of experience in accounting firms in Canberra and also working for a large constructing company. Jason is a qualified Chartered Accountant. At DFK Everalls Jason assists our directors and managers with tax and accounting work for our business clients and other business services. Outside of work, Jason is a huge fan of the Geelong Cats and loves watching them play on the weekend with family and friends. He also enjoys playing golf and going out to dinner with friends.
	Anne Geraghty Anne joined DFK Everalls as an accountant in July 2011 after several years of experience in Sydney and UK. She assists the managers with preparing accounts for businesses and superannuation funds. Anne graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Macquarie University. She has also completed the Chartered Accountants Program. She enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends and playing sport.
	Raheem Dauda Raheem graduated with B.Sc Accounting from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1995 and became a CA with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Nigeria (ICAN) in May 2000. Since moving to Australia in 2007, he has worked as an accountant with two small firms in the ACT before joining DFK Everalls in August 2011. He has since completed a Master of Commerce degree and is qualified as FIPA and CPA. Raheem is currently assisting the managers and directors at DFK Everalls with provision of taxation and advisory services to clients. His areas of interest include taxation services, management and cash flow forecasting, regulatory compliance, cost reductions, personal finance and technology integration. Raheem is married with three daughters. In his spare time he enjoys playing soccer, walking, watching reality TV shows, and visiting parks and historical places with his family.
	Chenny Kong Chenny joined DFK Everalls in July 2011 after graduating from the Australian National University with a Masters of Professional Accounting. She is interested in both taxation and accounting. Chenny is undertaking her Chartered Accountants program, which she hopes to complete in two or three years. Outside of work, Chenny enjoys playing badminton and tennis in her spare time. She also like travelling and camping during her holidays.

Meet the Admin team

Here at DFK Everalls the support team provides the top-notch professional business support services we need to run our business smoothly on a day to day basis. When you phone Everalls, it will be one of the support team who will happily take the calls and help resolve your queries.

	Cathy Cashion Cathy joined the Admin team of Everalls in February 2006. Her role includes all facets of bookkeeping, payroll, debtors and creditors and production of the newsletters. Cathy returned to full time work after ten years of part-time work and looking after her three children Catelyn, Dana and Liam. Away from Everalls, Cathy is usually driving the kids to their various activities, spending time with her husband and children, catching up with friends, reading and quilting.


	Mandy Philipse Mandy joined the Manuka office team in October 1994 in clerical support. Mandy went on maternity leave in February 1999, 2001 and then again in 2009 and now works 2 days a week in the filing area updating the data base, working with tax audit insurance and general support. After hours she enjoys playing music and watching her beautiful girls Samantha, Nicole & Jessica & her newest addition a baby boy, Benjamin grow.

	Sheryl Hinde Sheryl joined DFK Everalls in January 2007 as the front office Receptionist. Sheryl provides friendly, professional service to all our clients as they walk through our doors. Her other key roles are electronically lodging tax returns, helping out with general administration tasks and also advising clients when their tax returns are finalised. Sheryl is married to Barry and has two children Shelby and Trevor. Sheryl is passionate about living life to its fullest and her other interests are watching and participating in all types of sport with her family, she is especially fond of motor racing and football (NRL).

	Vicki Salem Vicki joined DFK Everalls in February 2006 as the Personal Assistant to the Directors of the firm. Vicki has had many years working in the Accounting and Financial Planning industries. Vicki worked for Everall Merrett & Mann in both the Manuka and Kambah Offices for approximately two years. Vicki is married to Geoff who is a University Lecturer and has two teenage daughters, Vanessa and Belinda. Most of her spare time is taken up with equestrian competitions, in particular Showjumping and Dressage, in which both daughters compete.
