As a growing business, at DFK Everalls we always looking for talented graduates to join our team.
We offer a mentored graduate program that provides our graduates with opportunities to quickly build and develop their skills across a range of client and technical issues. This will include sitting in on client interviews and liaising with clients to resolve queries. We do not ‘pigeon hole’ graduates into basic, monotonous tasks.
Our training and development focuses on the ‘why’ not the ‘what’. We teach our graduates solid foundations which can then be used across various client issues, enabling them to develop into problem solvers. We expect someone who thinks outside the box not just tick them.
Ideally you will have completed your Bachelor of Commerce degree (or similar), majoring in Accounting and have intentions to become a Chartered Accountant. If this is you – we love to hear from you.
Our corporate values include Honesty & Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork & Camaraderie, Positive Attitude and Community. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and high quality work and advice and also on the way we look after our clients and team members. The Everalls Group’s purpose is to make a positive difference for our clients so that they can achieve their goals, be assisted to understand complex issues using plain English, and can sleep well with the knowledge that we are looking after their financial and business interests. We do this in a holistic and connected way as a team, without service “silos” nor client “turf wars”.
If you want to “make it happen”, then we want to hear from you. We have the following specific opportunities at the moment but can always make room for the right person!
We are looking for a graduate and/or under-graduate to join our close-knit team. You will work closely with our Senior Accountants learning how to prepare financial statements and tax returns for a broad range of clients. You will sit in on client meetings, develop client relationships and follow up on queries/missing information.
You will get regular formal technical training as well as personal development training. And you’ll get to have fun doing it with our active social club. As you progress you will develop your own client portfolio and expand your skills and service offerings to include pro-active tax and business advice as well as specialisations such superannuation.
We also provide study support while you complete your qualifications. Under-grads have the opportunity to work part-time but a minimum of 20 hours and 3 days per week is required.
Your role is to deliver excellent client work ready for review by CRM’s, managers and directors, and thus able to be delivered to clients.
Your role is also to seek out and take on challenges and be exposed to a range of technical and client issues which will allow you to quickly build your skills in order to progress to more senior roles.
We are looking for a senior bookkeeper to join our close-knit team. You will have great support from both the bookkeepers and accountants. You will have a portfolio of clients to look after and expand covering a broad range of sizes and industries.
You will provide high quality ‘cloud’ bookkeeping, payroll, support and compliance services to clients. This allows our clients to concentrate on growing their businesses and doing what they do best. Better books means clients can make better decisions and develop a better business.
Significant opportunities exist for you to add to your bookkeeping prowess by developing your technical skills, client management skills and there is the opportunity to work with and help train our junior bookkeepers.
